Expansion

It seems like this summer just went by in a blur. So much has happened from personl emotinal attacks from family members to the passing of our dog. In addition the rain just wouldn't let up. But now it's fall and I find myself hopin gthat things will begin to settle down, at least for a little while. I use to really hate the fall. But now I find it a timeof refreshment. Kind of sloghing off of the old in preperation of putting on the new. A preperation for renewal. Part of that is I am tring to set up new social net work sites for myself, since the sinking of yahoo360. I added my first one today on Window Live. Hope you'll look me up there.

Passing Of A Friend

A very good and faithful friend of mine passed away last week. I had been sitting with him for four hours as he labored to breath. We had been out for a ride earlier in the afternoon, and he was really enjoying the wind in his face. It was an up moment as his health had been failing bit by bit in recent weeks. But while we were out he began to look very drained and tired. Once we got home he couldn't even make it back in the house and I carried him from the car to the living room. I sat with him through the evening talking softly with soft music playing quietly in the background. He was in my arms when he breathed his last and his heart stopped. It was very sad. He was the first one in my life to have ever shown me affection and faithfulness unconditionally. After he passed I set flowers around him until the morning when I removed him from my home for the last time.
Rest in peace my friend , you earned it!

Lord, please help me to be the person my dog always though I was.
